Dryer Vent Cleaning
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has determined
that almost every home in America harbors a "hidden" potential
fire hazard -- the dryer vent! Read their notice here: Overheated Clothes Dryers Can Cause Fires Such fires occur thousands of times each year, and are responsible for dozens of deaths and many millions of dollars' worth of damage to homes and other property. These fires can occur when hot air from the dryer is blocked by lint that has built up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct (dryer vent). The trapped dryer exhaust can become super-heated and ignite the dust and lint. And, even when a fire doesn't occur, the built-up lint restricts the flow of air in the vent, dramatically reducing the efficiency of the dryer -- sometimes to the point that the dryer may hardly dry your laundry at all!
